Ford 9 Ratio Question
I have a Ford 9, can anyone tell me what the gear ratio is, and what kind of vehicle it might have come from. This is what the tag says: WDM DA 1K05

Looks like 3.00 : 1 ratio if the tag matches the gear set. Numberdummy can decode the rest...might take a while for him to see your post.
Do you have this as a loose part, or installed in a housing, or installed in a vehicle?

Well, count the teeth and look in where the spiders are to confirm 3.00 and non-locker. (if you can see the spider gears and not a round drum in there, you have an open diff. The tag would have an "L" in there for limited slip)

Is on my 81 Bronco 4x4 300in I-6 with OD Manual
definately 3.00 axle ratio with no factory locker and nearly 100% sure its the 31-spline, other than that, someone please tell me
