Another paint thread
My parents want to paint the house so they bought a multi-purpose spray gun. It says it can also be used for vehicles.
I found a list of automotive paints and clear coats and it would cost me about $150 for everything.
But I'm just wondering, for the main colour (Black) how much paint would be used on a Ranger? More than a pint? A quart? More?

I would think you should have a half gallon on hand, but I guess it depends on what all you are planing to paint. Doing the door jambs, between the cab and bed and in the bed will require more paint than a quicky outside job.
