Talking Weekend Project Done!!! .. :d:d

THE PARTS
  • water temp guage
  • fan clutch
  • autolite spark plugs 0.55 gapped
  • water pump
  • goodyear hose kit ( blue )
  • moroso wire looms
  • MSD 6A
  • powermaster 100 amp single wire alternator
  • pulution pump delete
  • TIMING SOON TO BE SET AT 12.5 BTDC***
it went easy... the only big problem was the alternator had a wrong pully it has a V belt pully soo i swapped the pully from the old one it was a pain in the but to get of..

THE AFTER MATH:
FOR THE PEAPLE HO KNOW MY WHINING OVER MY MISFIRE POSTS ITS NOW GONE.. NO MORE MISFIRES NO MORE ROUGH IDLES EVERYTHING IS SMOOOOTHHHH A WHILE A GO I DIDNT WANNA GET OUT OF MY TRUCK.. HAHA

Good job. Looks good. Any noticeable difference with the 6A? Should go for some underdrive pulleys next. Cheap noticeable gain.

Also; what did you do to remove delete the air pump?

Oh! And gauge pic plz!

MSD difference : smoothh idle.. no more missfire proble... HELL of a good trottle response and a noticible amount of power ... not much but my 0.60 time went from 11 to 9.8 seconds
ahh crapp i forgot the guage pic.. haha wait 2 minutes...
chek out your guage post i will post the pics there


EDIT : NEVERMIND I MADE ANEW POST ABOUT THE GUAGES..

the pump ? haha.. no more strange noises from it and i dont even know its function soo i dont need it haha.. its sure a little les stress on the engine not much but its something

I was just wondering how you eliminated it. I see that you took the pulley off and just got a shorter belt, but what about the tubes going to the back of the heads/before the cat? Maybe someone else can pipe up about this because mines making funny noises too and I don't think it's in proper working order. Does anyone know if there's any negative effects to doing it the way he did it?

i got a shorter belt not a pump.. it took me 3 trips to napa back and forth get the right lenght..

goodyear... hi-miler hoses.. 99 dolar for the set... FULL cooling system heater everything..
