VIn decoding question
Hi,
My name is Peter and i live in the Netherlands, since a few months i own a 1981 Ford Bronco XLT, 351 V8. I have a question about the vin number or better zabout the engine, for manny off you it will be easy but i just want to be sure. I now the truck has a 351 v8, but i have heard that there are differences between the W (windsor) engine and the M ( modified) engine. I am 80% sure that there is an M engine in mine, but i want to be 100% sure so i do not order the wrong parts if something brakes. Parts here in Holland are very expensive. if i put my VIN number to the decoder on this site it just gives me 351 v8 and not M or W. Can someone help me with that.
The VIN nr is as folows 1FMEU15G4BLA50791, the car was exported to switserland and from there i bought it, the decoder also told me that it was build by Michigan truck in Wayne Michigan. I dont know if that helps.
Hope to hear from someone.
