I ran the check book hot rod on the dyno today to get a print out for Luke and I think I sqweaked a piston or f'd up a ring. There's a terrible knock comin from the left bank. EGT's are normal, boost is about 6lbs shy of its norm, did I loose a piston?

Cowboy Steve
is it popping from the intake or exhaust, that would be a good indication of a bent pushrod. Any abnormal smoke? First thing id do is pull the vc's and check the rocker arms and pushrods. Second would be a compression test.

Did you pull the cover? Dave broke a rocker arm a cuple of weeks ago......sounded very similar to your description. Pushrods and rocker arms are an easy fix.
Scott, I havent had the chance to pull the VC and see whats up. Im hoping to get to it tomorrow morning. I sure hope its something up top and not a piston rod.
