Tranny

Just got back from vac. towing my 5th wheel and noticed I had to give it alot more fuel to get it going in low. I checked the fluid level and for smell, all ok. It was ok in drive. So when I went to back up the same thing. Had to really put the foot down? Any help, or suggestions on what or where to start with. 97, 7.3, F350, Auto.

Is this happening when you're towing or after you unhooked the 5'er. If it's happening while towng check your 5'er brakes, they may be sticking. May even be the truck brakes hanging. Do you have a tranny temp gage? What temps are you seeing?

Brakes are ok. Not hanging up and I don't have any temp gauges, just stock.

Thumbs up

Well you should buy a tranny gauge and a bigger cooler if you still have the stock one.
