Chroming a grill
Hey guys, I was wandring if anyone had a 51-52 truck who had there grill (bar and three teeth) chromed. I am wanting to do this to my 51 and was needing to know what it costs to do this.

I haven't had mine chromed but I was at a swap meet last sumer where a guy was selling a freshly chromed 51/52 grill. He was asking $700 (canadian)for it. The chroming was probably lass than that assuming he was trying to make a bit of money off of it.
The cost will depend somewhat on the condition of your grill. Before they chrome it they will polish and buff the metal. The grill has to be absolutely perfect before it gets chromed or you will see every flaw.
