Chrysler has had a history of adopting foreign vehicles and putting their name on it (or sometimes only the Chrysler star on one fender). A couple of their early adoption failures were English. Anybody remember when they imported the Plymouth Cricket and the Sunbeam Arrow from England. The imported them for a couple of years and then totally abandoned them. I bought a used Sunbeam Arrow that was only a couple of years old for $200 and found it impossible to get parts for it. They even imported a Simca at one time.
