disaster
Well started out to be a good sat. but ended in disaster. Truck stalled then got it started then turned a corner and tranny let go.Lost all fluid from converter area. At least it waited to last race of year, just didn't want to put that much money out right now. But as they say xxxx happens.

Really sorry to hear that......but like you said.....s**t happens. Look on the bright side.....next year you won't have to worry about anything but making the race car go faster.

Question for ya here if you don't mind. I priced duals for my truck and have the choice of glass packs or turbo mufflers. I love the sound of glass packs better than anything but I have to sneak thru town anywhere between 1:30 and 3:30 in the morning. Small town, buildings for sound to bounce off of and cops with nothing to do that time of morning. I have a 87 302 4x4 4speed, since you have the exhaust I want do you think a person could get away with it? These cops pulled my sons friend over in his V-8 4x4 Dakota 3 times in 2 weeks but he had straight pipes too. My guess is at 19 years old he was a little less than discreet about making them rattle although he claims to be an angel

Well got new rebuilt tranny. works great, L and L trans. shop always does a fine job and also builds your'e trans. for what you need to do.My baby has duals on it that were put on br previous owner, they are flowmasters and an aluminized exhaust. They only get loud if you tromp on it or pulling a heavy load from the start. they are great.
