vacuum t pressure

I hooked up a vacuum guage to one of the unused ports on the "t" on the manifold. I have read that I should get a reading of 18, is this true? I am showing about 10 and am wondering if that means i have a vacuum leak somewhere. My engine idles rough and I dont hardly have any power.

Clean your Idle air bypass if you got fuel injection!! List your truck in your signature so we know what you have!!

Is that the same thing as the IAC? If so do I just spray some gunk or carb cleaner in it once I take it off?

Take it off and spray the heck out of it make sure to hold the solenoid end up so no gunk goes into the shaft!!! Some Rtv and antisieze(because you will do it again!!) And it will be good as new! IAC, IAB Diamond shaped mounting plate with solenoid deal!!
