It sounds like a disaster to me. If you don't have enough room to get the tool in I would guess try to cut it as close as possiable to the filter and try finding a sheet metal screw that will screw into the end for a handle to pull on. Those things are a pain to remove on my truck. Don,t get mad if my idea doesn't work. Good luck, and I mean it you will need it.

take it to a mechanic and have them do it.

will save you a lot of swearing.

the correct one is not that easy to get off.

Cut the line on both ends. Get new lines, or new ends.

i would have said to do that, but if they are too short it will be hard to get at them with the tool in there.

I used to work at an oil change place....sometimes you can yank on the filter to gain you more space and then shove the tool in there.......other times you'll need a flathead screwdriver.....or cut the ends of the filter off as close to the body of the filter as you can....grab those pieces with a pair of needle nose pliers or a pair of vise grips then put the filter on the tubing and shove it in there.......why can't ford just use the filters that take the plastic c-clips?

Mine are braided stainless I don't know about 94s, but cutting mine would not be an option. Maybe wrecking yard replacements would be a better solution.
