Cool

I was reading today about one of my old screen idols, Steve McQueen. When he died he had 210 motorcycles, 55 cars and 5 airplanes. How cool is that?

I'd say very cool for the person that inherited them.

I had the opportunity to meet Steve while he was in Texas filming the movie "The Getaway." In the movie you will see a mugshot with a prison number. I took that picture. I was in college, and worked part time as a prison guard in the photo & ID dept of the prison. We were in Huntsville at the time. He was great to talk to, and was a really down to earth guy. One would never know of his star status by the way he presents himself.

I also got to meet Sam Peckinpaw. That old cuss was funny as hell.

I did not get to meet his co-star Ali McGraw, dammit, or Meatheads wife, Sally Struthers. jd

a guy that use to live next to us in kansas had a huge collection of things; over 100 motorcycles, talking classic harleys and triumps and a few indians; a monster truck, an authentic general lee (i guess one that was actually in the dukes of hazard); and my favorite, a 1963 split window corvette with just a few thousand miles on it.

he had a big garage (little warehouse) that he kept them all in and built a little apartment in a corner of the garage. he was a hvac guy and had his own company that he got from his dad.

We need variety. I have 1 modern car (Town Car), 1 antique car (Ford Fairlane), 1 truck (F-150), 1 SUV (Escape), 2 BMW motorcycles (an airhead and an oilhead), and 2 John Deeres. Everyting is insured, tagged (if needed) and used.
