FE identification, casting numbers???

I'm tring to ID 4 of my FE motors here to make sure I know what the are before I decide which one gets built for my 4x4. Just wondering is there or where are some ID numbers on the block that would tell me 352, 360, 390 or 428... (one can wish lol)

Well you can pull a plug and see what the stroke of the motor is and that would narrow it down at least. To know the bore you're gonna have to pull a head. I don't think there is an external sure fire way of telling.
