Cat delete Pipe Experience

Hello

I have a 5" Granatelli cat back exhaust and i just put on my cat delete pipe ast night. I just wanted to write about my experience. It went in in about 20 minutes. I didn't notice the truck much louder until i hit the sweet spot at around 3000 rpms, know with the cat delete, i notice it at around 2500 rpms and it is loud. My wife in our basement heard the truck coming from about .5 miles away. My nieghbor called the cops on me but then apologized after seeing it was us.

I also wanted to ask if i could get a ticket for the truck being too loud.

Depends on the state, I know in MN you can, but I guess I have never been stopped in my truck for too loud of an exhaust. I know some friends that have but they are also the kind that lay on the pedal at every stop light. I would just try not to lay on the pedal when the police are around.

You can get a ticket for screaming too loud. It all depends on the cop and how he's feeling that day. Most likely they won't bother you unless you're being a jerk about it.
