1QWIK75... it does live up to its license tag..<grin>
I'm guessing around 325HP though and close to 500ft lbs of torque. That cam is almost stock but the rest of the engine is definitely going to make as much power as that cam will let it. You will definitely have problems keeping the tires from spinning though.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 07-Aug-02 AT 05:15 PM (EST)]Hi, i just bought a 1970 390 with nothing done to it and i was wondering how much horsepower and torque it has. Thanks.
http://www.clubfte.com/users/ratsmoker/1quik75.gif Here is what it spit out man. I'm kinda confused a little about your setup. 45 degree angle valve seats are good for high lift cams but flow worse at low lifts than 30 degree seats. Doing exhaust work to the heads is where its at though man.
Thanks Ratsmoker for the report, you are right about the cam.. when the engine was being built I didn't want it to radical at idle, but now with the C6 stall speed, could've gone a little more, Was thinking around 400 or 425 hp,, the torque is fine, plenty of sling shot outta the hole just like was planned. But the the nice things about cams in new engines they can be swaped,, ..!
Have the EB street perfomer intake forgot to list that, how about a suggestion on the cam grind...can change it now with just 1200 miles on the crane now in it..
