Finally, think I have found the culprit. Weds night put the rear on jackstands removed the wheels and drums, started and put her in gear. Found I have some run out on the drivers side and none on the passenger. Removed the drivers side axle and dropped it off at the driveline shop yesterday. After inspection they said I have a bent axle and need to replace it.The new axle is coming from Tenn and will be here tomorrow. Should take about ten minutes to install so should be able to make my Friday night cruise. Hopefully without a shimmy! am pretty sure that is the cause of my vibration since everything else is new and only took me two years to figure it out, LOL. Thanks for all the responses and JR even if it is fixed I probably will still go fast from stop light to stop light, LOL. Joe

Wow, glad you finally found the culprit. Who would have guessed a bent axle? That certainly would not have been high on my list...

I'm glad the mystery is revealed. This was a tough one. We are all crossing our fingers that this is the fix. Like Vern, I wouldn't have guessed a bent axle.

I knew it all the time! Us guys with monster engines are always twisting and bending axles! Good going Joe, now if I could just figure out my brake light all would be right with the world. Jag

I personally want to hear about how you drove 90 mph to the cruise on Friday nite without any shimmy! Suspense is killing me! Great news Joe.
