DPF Delete Tune

I have been following the DPF delete tune since it has been on here and I have a few questions that some of you may be able to help me with. From what I have heard the tune will have a 100hp mode then an off road mode (I would like to stay with SCT). Will the DPF still be used in the 100 hp mode or will it be shut off then too? From what I have read it will be shut off during off road mode only. This doesn't make a whole lot of since to me because then the DPF and all of the emmisions stuff will have to stay intact and I weould like to get rid of it all. I use my truck for towing so I would assume that the off road tune will not be too good on the truck towing a 16,000lb gooseneck. I was driving down the highway the other day getting 17.7 (on the lie o meter) untill regen hit. After the regen was completed I was down to just over 13 mpg (that blew) so needless to say I want to get rid of it. Better milage = more money in the pocket. I know it will void the warrenty (depending on who you take it too some dealers work with you more than others) so I don't need to hear all of that about the warrenty issue. And for the tree huggers it may not be so good for that issue eighter. I am only looking for technical support on the issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Your guess is as good as anybody else's. No A/M dealers have had the ability to work custom tunes for these trucks yet so its a toss up of who knows what. Your best bet would be to call Tadd at Elite Diesel and talk to him about the dpf delete tune. SCT, as I understand, is only offering the dpf delete files in the off-road tunes. Where the other guru's are said to be offering the dpf delete file in all their tunes if you request it to be that way.
