Hey Zbig, No I have no shop manual working off of advice from this site and past noldge of working on the other side of the fence (yes chevy 350's, 400's)

-Discovered the problem today when manualy cranking the engine, blown head gasket

Only problem I have now is that the cam sprocket doesn't have enough room to slide forward, without having to remove the timing chain cover

One last idea I have to remove it is to remove the head bolts left the cylinder head up off its dowels then slide it back enough to remove the sprocket 1/8 inch, if this doesn't work I got to take out the radiator and take apart the surpinetide assembly, and finally remove the timming chain cover

Sherm what kind of rims you get? any pics?

If you don't mind me asking there zbig, what do you do?

Bonjour guys

first off sherm dammmm that f150 sounds bad *** and looks even better with those tires on i might add, you find out if they rub yet?

Zbig, yea there was gunk... I found alot of build up on each bund you could say, the runners them selfs were actually pretty clean hit them with a preasure washer. best way I've found to remove is throttle body cleaner, just peals the stuff right off. Best part was when I looked inside the plenium, WOW a puddle of oil I suspect it's from the pcv valve.

As of right now in my project I'am working on removing the timiming chain cover. One header is off the one on the passenger side I missing some more bolt before it comes off, that damm fan assmebly is off as well (all I can say is it's a piece of junk)

oil preasure has been fine when I was driving her, I have no idea if there was water in the oil, I've had her for little over 5 months now.

whether the gasket was blown in or out I don't haven't gotten the cylinder head off, though when I turn the motor manualy with a wrench I can hear and feel air escaping were cylinder number 9 is.

likely blown out if you can hear air, also if it was blown in, you probably would have noticed your water dissapearing and she'd be overheating on ya... was it like this when you bought it??
