The cobra MAF had the same calibration as the GT MAF, even with 24 lb/hr injectors. The injector size difference was taken care of by a different injector scaling factor in the computer. I don't know if the cobra MAF meter would work any better or worse than the stock truck meter, though.
I beleive Conanski is refering to the FRPP Mass air conversion kit for trucks, 55mm, which I think is the stock size, not 65. And his cobra unit is probably 65mm. FRPP mustang upgrade kit is 70mm. gains are probably minimal unless you have some serious mods, or boost.
The truck meters were different from the fox body mustang meters (which were used in Ford's mass air conversion kits), for sure. Looks like 70mm from BEWOLD's post...
