Mercon or Syn ATF
Sorry guys, I can't find a direct answer to my question. I have a 00 7.3L PSD with 220k. Need to change ATF, SOON! Do you recommend Royal Purple ATF or stay with Mercon. There are so many different opinions, some say don't use synthetic AT fluids because they are too slick, causing slippage. Others say use Syn ATF's... just need a straight answer with some validity... thanks
