Borg Warner 1356 Transfer Case Question!

Ok, i have a 1995 Ford F250 4x4 that has a 351W and a 3 speed automatic...the 1356 borg warner transfer case took a ****, and i found another 1356 transfer case in a truck that is identical, except that it is overdrive and mine is not. Would that transfer case in the truck with overdrive still work in my truck which is just a 3-speed?

It should. Other than the possibilty of needing a different adapter (which you probably won't need anyway), the overdrive is in the tranny. The transfer case should be the same.
