exhuast tips

Has anyone installed these exhaust tips from MBRP? I was thinking about buying the entire exhaust system, however I don’t want to spend $500.00+ and not get any performance, sound or mileage improvements.

What I did to save some cash is have a custom 4" set up done with a 5" double walled stainless tip. Truck looks great and only cost me $300 or so installed.

These tips really look much better than stock. They're a direct bolt on, like our systems, and do not interfere in any way with the new emissions controls on the 6.4L.

this is probably I stupid question but what is the benefit of a filter back exhaust? If the cat/muffler/filter are all still there how does it better anything?

muffler is after the filter, so by removing the stocker you can get a slight increase of flow is the thought behind it and also a lot of the time just pure looks is the reasoning although i love the way the dual tips look myself
