pros - well, LOOKS , sound, looks, and loots of props from people passing you ,
cons - more noise, more chrome to polish, soot on the paint when it rains,

other than that i love mine,

The pros are: Nice sound, no sooty tire, or no smoking out of cars(will i guess that could be a con also), its awesome to watch smoke go straight up! cons: you loose bed space

Also, with your truck, and the lift you got, you might want to consider some 7" stacks. Make it look more correct(IMO), i had 5's and they werent cuttin it.

rain is no problem, you put pilot hole in the bottom of the elbow and this will drain exess water,
6" are less prone to drone, and 7" are deeper as far as sound goes, you can do a search on e-bay there is a guy selling them cheap, or go all out and get Grand Rock kit, about 800$ for 7"
picture i attached are of my 7" stacks

I built my own stack setup, i made a T, and bought a bunch of 5" pipe, and 3 elbows, and a bunch of other stuff. Then i got the stacks from chromedepot.com, they have blemish stacks that looked perfect to me, and all said and done it cost me around 500$ to do. Pete bought his complete IIRC, so you might want to ask him about them. There is no difference except for looks and the sound. I think they sound damn good. I dont have anything specail done for when it rains, i just let the water go in the stacks, and when i start it the water comes out and leaves a few black spots on the bed rails and side of the truck. Nothing that bothers me though.

PETE'S_7.3PSD, i'm from E Northport. I've been considering 5 or 6'' stacks on my 96 f250. Have you ever had any trouble with the anyone looking for a muffler or cat or problems with the loudness? Just curios how they're taken here on LI. Thanks!
