I just recently completed cleaning my MAF and IAT Sensors with my sensor spray cleaner. Are there any other sensors I should be spraying. I see lot's of post on the DPFE sensor but looked at it and didn't make sense to spray it with the MAF cleaner. do you gain anything from unhooking the two hoses and spraying it up were the hoses are connected, or am I way off base?

that should be it really, but i have a question back at ya if you dont mind. i dont have actual sensor cleaner, i have throttle body cleaner, do you think that would work for my maf??? i need to clean it, i removed my k&n and now would like to clean sensor. thanks.
From what I have read please do not use the throttle body cleaner on the MAF. I investigated it pretty thoroughly and because these sensors are very sensitive your best to use sensor cleaner (about $6-$8) or electronic cleaner. These types of cleaners evaporate quickly after spraying them. Regards
theres really no way of telling when to clean the sensors. but if you notice you may be getting a few mpg less than normal then a dirty MAF may contribute to that. and nawicks, the IAT(intake air temperature) sensor. and i dont know exactly where it is at. so basic electrical cleaner will work, cool, i got like 5 cans stashed from work hehe.
Hello, the IAT sensor is in the air intake assembley, when you replace your air filter the first sensor going towards the engine is the MAF and the one behind it is the IAT, mine has red on the the end of it. hope that helps
IAT in this tube MAF in same tube but first
