4X4 front axle question
help me out team...
OK front drivers side axle,, just past the yoke, right before it goes into the axle housing...looks like a seal lip is just sitting there...
the seal seems to still be in the right place , but the ring ( hard part of the seal, outer circle) seems to have come off./??
NO leaks, but I am concerned.....
Anyone ever pull and axle out of one of these beast???
LOOKS like a big deal to me.

It's an involved job but not insane, check out the link in the tech folder on how to service the needle bearing in the front end, that takes you 90% of the way to pulling an axle.
If you're not mechanically inclined it may be a little much though
