I have completed the exhuast brake mod,but the torque convertor will not stay engegd. I went to the trans plug pass side and tapped into pin #4 with resistor (grey end towards trans)and spliced other end to the wire going from the swich to ebpv. any input would HELP!!!

You should tap the wire of the pin #4 and trought a switch, go to ground. I dont understand what you mean with: "#4 with resistor". I have 2 differents switches, one for the EBPV and another for the TC lock and when I need the exhaust brake I move them at the same time.
This is from DIESEL INNOVATIONS:
The switch can be installed without the LED indicator and the LED can be installed without the switch. Run a ground wire to one side of the switch and connect the other side of the switch to the wire you ran into the cab from the transmission. When the switch is flipped it will ground the signal from the transmission and lock up the torque converter.
