Oil changing questions
Hey ya'll. I have a 390 in my 75 f-150. As you all know, the oil drain plug is right on top of the crossmember. Do you guys have any tricks or hints as to how I can change my oil and not get the stuff EVERYWHERE. I was going to install one of those FRAM quick drain plugs but there is not enough room.
I was just curious how you guys change the oil in your trucks. Thanks for any input!

Pull the engine. It makes it really easy to change the oil...LOL. Just kidding. I used to have a '74 F150 with the 390. I had the same problem and never found an easy way.

Oil changing questions
I have taken the lid from a Nestles'Quick container..(yellow and oblong)... and cut the edge away from one side. It just fits between the cross member and the oil pan. Let it overhang just a little on the cross member. Slowly remove the drain plug and the oil won't over flow the lid and runs off into the catch can. Works for me!
