Driveshaft vibration
I have a '90 F-150. The driveshaft has increased in vibration over the past few months. I have replaced the universal joints, carrier bearing and balanced the rear tires. The rear end seems tight, so what do I do? Please Help!

If your tires are balanced, the u-joints are new, the carrier bearing is new, and all the suspension bushings are tight, I would take it to a shop and make sure the drive shaft itself is tight. It could have had a weight fall off.

If you want to try and balance the driveshaft yourself it can be done. The process is described in one of my repair manuals. Of course it isn't as dependable as a professional balance job but it should get the job done.
