NP435 Differences
Does an NP435 mated to a "Modified" have the same input shaft (length, teeth, width) as that of an "FE" block NP435?
I am trying to find a short term solution. I basically have a NP435 in my '78 with a blown 400M. I have a virtually rebuilt 360 FE V8. My long term goal is to install a fuel injected 460 but that is years down the road or a Cummins swap (have not decided). So I need to use what I have for a short term solution.
I know that I need a NP435 to FE bellhousing (which I had years ago and sold - Doh!) so I will need to locate one of those.
I think I might have to find adapters to get an FE block to bolt to the frame pirches of the '78.
