When sitting in the truck 1979 F150 and gassing the motor, I think I hear a vacuum leak comeing from some where behind the radio area. am I hearing things?
Not any more ! The prior owner must have removed it. I pulled the radio and found a bundle of at least four lines, have not had the time to track down the leak, maybe I should just remove them or disconect them if they are only for AC ?
Thanks John

It's probably one of the four lines you found. They control the vacs that open and shut your vents when you choose 'heat' or 'vent' or 'defrost'. If they are disconnected they are easy hook back up - just use the diagram Mil1ion just posted.
BTW Dennis thanks for posting that - I labeled my hoses when I pulled that assembly out last night. On a non-thread jack note...I posted an elec problem in the electrical category...could it get moved up here? I may get more responses...thx. /rant
