Getting There...
Just wanted to post an update. finally have brakes done. disc/drum. planning to make first trip down the road on Wed. Headed to a gas station. tired of going there with gas can. A first run, see what bugs it has. Need to work out brake/tail light wiring. Wiring from scratch. I think my power wire to brake switch (hydraulic) was shorting out on exhaust pipe. time will tell. 
Keep on wrenching.

Your in the home stretch! I hope to be on the road next spring.
The elderly lady next door made my day. She backed her car out of her garage and I had my truck out front. She saw it when I first brought it in and she rolled her window down and asked if I had a new truck.
I said no its the same one. That really made me feel good for someone who hasnt a clue on paint, bodywork, old trucks to notice wow thats looks good.
Just made my day.

Thanks. I know how you feel. lots of labor, some money but it is nice to be at the other end of the work. Sometimes I forget its the same truck I dragged home in Pieces.
