2000 f150 Horn Issues
Okay, I know nothing about trucks. I need to get my horn fixed for my TX state inspection. a little help would get me going in the right direction.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
I am having horn issues. no sound at all. no honk, no relay, just the sound my frustration in my head each dime i press the steering wheel. I checked all the fuses; all are good. I went to the local auto parts store and they mentioned it might be the relay. I purchased one and don’t know where to put it. I opened up the main power brick under the hood and can see 2 parts just like the one I have and 2 more places where some could go. How do I know if this is my issue at all and where to put this thing?
Next part of this is odd. I’ve not found a post like this on here yet. The horn works…. Kinda. If the key is out of the ignition, I can get the horn to work.is there something that would cause this that I could fix?

Check the owners manual. it will tell you which and where the horn relay is. also, check for power and ground at the harness to the horn. if you have power and ground at the horn, it is the horn thats bad.
