I had the same problem with my 50f1. The steering rod goes all the way through the box. You have to remove box with the rod. Unbolt from frame and arm and pull through the cab floor. Hope this helps.
Don't forget, when you're putting it back in, that you need to put it thru the floor seal -- otherwise you'll have to split the seal to get it over! (Heck of a design)
