Regulator or Motor

So my passenger window rolls halfway down and stops. Should i look at the regulator or motor first?

2000 F-250, cc

Does it roll down strong and quit or is it just very slow?

rolls down kinda medium and then dies out

Try lubing the slide area first. If you search through the threads (I know, it would be better if I could post the link, but cannot at the moment)... you can find a discussion where Kwikkordead talks about lubing these slides and how to do it properly... It's probably been about 6 months since I saw that thread.

Anyway, wish I could be more specific, but I hope this helps.

Could be the regulator binding up or the window tracks are dry and dirty. try spraying some clear silicone in the tracks and see if it gets better, usually the motor will either work or it won't.
