alright i gotta 76 f250 when i press the brake pedal the fuse blows for the brake lights. i figure there is probably a short somewhere, but what im looking for is a wiring diagram and where the wires are ran so i can check or just replace wires.
thanks, josh
Chances are it is a short at the tail-lights causing it or a cut wire along the frame.
Remove them and check and secure all the grounds and power connections
Try removing the bulbs from the sockets and see if it still blows the fuse. Could be a bad bulb or short in the socket. It's happened to me a couple times.
If someone added a trailer light pigtail, check the connections. I've seen some where they cut the wires then just twisted them back (no wire nut) then used tape, what ever they had. There should be a harness connection at the back, unplug it and see if it clears. At least it will help isolate the problem.
