strange noise
Greetings,
I own a 2002 scab F-150 4x4. It has the 5.4 with an automatic and the 9.75 inch rear end. About three weeks ago one of my kids got it stuck in a water filled ditch and we had a heck of a time getting it out. After that incident there has been a strange noise coming from under the truck. It seems like it is from the rear end or drive train somewhere. I changed thesynhetic lube in the rear end but I can still hear it when cruising around. At speed it is a whirring sound that quiets a bit when I let off the gas. I just put new tires on it and I can hear them a bit but I can also hear something else. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
