In my limited experience in simply observing the comments from others and slowly investigating my own options for a replacement for my stock system:
MBRP = no bad reports or comments of dissatisfaction, dozens of very satisfied reports. Priced significantly higher than Silverline or MKO.
Silverline = I've seen one report of a disappointed buyer, only 2-3 reports of good experience and satisfaction. Seems to offer a decent system for the money.
MKO = lots of excellent reports and satisfied customers, haven't sen a bad report yet. Excellent system options for the money. Now have some of the longest 304SS tips I've found anywhere (16-22 inches in length).
Pinnacle = several excellent reports with really satisfied customers, no bad reports that I've seen. Seem to be well qualified and has long history in the business. Products appear to be well designed and built. Excellent warranty (lifetime as long as you own the vehicle). Not sure about their product pricing, but their eBay offerings seem to be fairly competitive with Silverline and MKO.
Magnaflow and BullyDog: Good reports, no bad reports, expensive.
My Conclusion: I'm going to be looking more closely at the Pinnacle and MKO systems for comparison. Prices seem to be somewhat compatible with each other. Just begun my investigations with Pinnnacle, though, and haven't really dug deeply into either company's offerings yet, but right now I'm pretty sure I'll be going with one of these two.
I have lots of friends with MBRP.
I run a Silverline T-304 dual system with their 6" Black Stainless tips.
Very happy with my system, my friends with the MBRP are happy as well (except for 2 of them that had a hanger break off the tailpipe and take a 1" circle of the tubing with it).
I bought the DIESLE MANOR-MBRP-409 SS turbo back. Some of the others don't supply the tip. I got the tip with the kit. Very easy install. I am not saying they are any better then the others, just saying that is the way I went. Good luck with they one you decide on.
I just called and she said they pretty much dont need stainless. She said she has only heard of two or three people that ended up getting replacement parts.
my exhaust is flow-pro or flo-pro whatever it is spelled...i never hear it mention anround here but i think people should look into it more, i really love the sound the muffler gives ... its nice and deep and loud too . . . im running the 5" system BTW
I bought MRBP for $370, 4" alluminized. Didn't really see need for stainless in AZ. Stainless is a personal preference. MRBP runs about $540 for single, they also have a 5" MRBP for $431. I'm sure others have fair prices too.
I just installed a 4" turbo back stainless Silverline Exhaust that I got from Xtremediesel.com for $454.00. I was very happy with the quality. I went with Silverline since they were the cheapest Stainless exhaust that included a tip. It is quieter than I thought it was going to be (Until I step on it), which is a good thing for me since my last 2 vehicles gave me problems with the law since they were loud. Personal preference. Go with what fits your budget and location (salt/no salt). Good luck. It took me a few months of going back and forth between a few companies. Send me your E-Mail if you want a sound/video clip. I have a '99 F250 with the 7.3L.

That was one issue I had been intending on checking out. Even though I had pretty much concluded that I didn't really need the stainless, I like to over-engineer all my work and make it really shine if I can. I can always find a nice metallic toned high temperature paint to cover it with for a little extra corrosion insurance, but I do want to get those 304SS, 4x6x20-inch long tips from MKO.
I've got the Silverline, it's been fine, but it did have a couple of kinks:
1) The hanger they shipped for one of the sections didn't work (fit), they shipped a replacement, same deal, no fit. I ended up welding up my own.
2) Initially, I had a lot of trouble with one section rubbing on a bolt head on the tranny support crossmember. I must've repositioned that pipe 10 times -- it would rub especially bad when pulling a travel trailer and create a really loud buzz in the cab. Ended up putting a quarter-size dimple in that pipe with a hammer to clear the bolt. I think that pipe wasn't bent right.
Everything's good after the initial PIA factor. Just my $.02.
I installed the 4" SS from Silverline - Sounds good and looks good.and was 400.00 to my door and included 304 ss tip and muffler. Pipes are 409 ss. Easy to install. Got it on Fleabay.
I Just bought a silverline complete stainless 409 and a programmer for my 2000 powerstroke for a steal!!! at mkopower.com They also have a few other brands I've been checking out for my wifes truck.
