my fan seems to bog don when i am pulling a hill or jus excelerating. also when the motor is idleing and i turn the fan on it seems to make the motor labor even when the ac is turnd off and i just want to run the vent. since the fan is not belt driven why would it make the motor labor. one more thing when i turn the fan on the altinater reading goes ito the red on the low side. any answers
If the charge gauge falls when you turn the fan on, the fan motor is suspect, although a fan motor drawing that much current should pop the fuse I would think.
First, have the charging system and battery tested. The normal draw from the blower motor could be enough to bring out problems there. If that's ok, look toward the motor itself.
It would also be a good idea to check and verify the body grounds. If the fan and the inst. cluster share the same ground.... Poor grounds cause all sorts of strange problems.
