I have a '92 F-250 4x4 351 with a 5 speed and internal slave cylinder. I am trying to change the clutch line to see if that is what is leaking in the bell housing. I ordered my new line and it came in different then the one i have. I checked around and that is what all the parts stores have in the Dormen Products line #628-201. I did some more checking and the one i have is from a '91 F-250 and the ends are different sizes on the slave cylinder end and the bends are different. Can anyone enlighten me on what is going on here and which one is the correct one.
See mine looks like the one on the bottom but i have a '92 f-250 so i can't quite figure out what happened. I switched the slave cylinder because it appered to be leaking, i ran it for a day and a half when it started leaking again. So i was trying to figure out if the two different size ends have anything to do with it leaking.
I have the zf and i know i have to pull the tranny, i did that last weekend it is leaking again. That is why i am trying to figure out if it has anything to do with the clutch assembly line
I had the same problem, I ended up using the the 91 clutch line. The 628-201 connects from the bottom of the clutch master and the pre-93 connects from the front. Either one will connect to any year internal slave.
