lift kit help

hey guys

i hang out in the forum just below this one.
my buddy just bought a 2000 stroke.
it currently has 35's on it and is stock height and he doesnt want to buy bigger tires. he wants a 6" lift. i was thinking more like a 4" with 35's.

so my question is if you have a lifted truck on 35's can you post pics of the truck wether it be a 4" or 6" lift. thanks

I have seen 4 and 6 with 35's and both look good, I however only run a 4'' leveling kit in the front and 350 rear blocks with 37's so I cant really help you with pix of the other

I run a 6" Superlift with 35's with 18" Predator whells, I like the way it sits, but think I would have preferered a 4" lift due to the practicality of it. You damn well need a skyjacker lift to put anything in the box. Oh well, guess it's time to rebuild those shoulder muscles. Pic is in the gallery

Here is my truck with leveling kit and 35's, no spring rub but just a wee bit of fenderwell rub turning into my girlfriend's up-grade driveway, and the second picture of how it was with 7" on 37's. Let me say you lose ALOT of practicality when you go anything over 4" and 35's. I may have the urge to lift mine back up to 4" to clear the fenders long way down the road, but i like how it sits now. I couldn't really do anything with my truck when it was lifted high, neither could my parents or anyone else get up in it much less. If you use your truck for ANYTHING other than driving around on the weekends showing it off, go for 4/35's.

I work out of mine 6 days a week and it gets USED so ya i would have gone with a smaller lift in hindsight for the purposes of towing ALOT, more than the job trailer or a flats boat, of weight. For the most part im of the opinion that if you have an all spring lift the difference between 4-6 is that much but 35s are better on fuel and power. I WILL go back to 35s when these are done i will say that
