I'm thinking about adding some subs to my truck, but don't really know what to go with. I've seen the JL Audio stealth boxes, but I know they are really pricey. I've also seen the dual 10" box that SuperCrewSound makes and sells. I'm just wondering.... the ID subs that SCS sells.... how do they sound? I'd be getting the ones they have listed as better sound quality as I don't need bass that will shake the cars next to me, although I do want to feel it in my own truck. I would probably be pushing them with a JL 250/1 amp.
If anyone has any suggestions as to boxes/subs that sound good and are decently priced, post em up.
Also, I have a clarion double din screen coming in on Friday and I need pointers on how to take my dash apart to remove the old radio and install the new one.
Thanks in advance.
*EDIT* Truck is a 2006 F-150

Ok, so I got the dash apart where I need it to be, but it doesn't fit too well when I put it back. Guess it'll just take some persuasion. Anywho, still looking for ideas on subs or opinions on the ID subs.
I have an Image Dynamics IDQ10D2V2 and I love it. I think they are about the best sounding sub out there, especially for the money, and the small enclosures they can be used in.
I actually put the ID sub in my JL Audio Stealthbox after burning up the voice coils in two JL Audio subs (yes my amp and sub were properly matched). I've run the ID since without any issues and it sounds a lot better.
