Fords&Farmalls you have to much time on your hands at college. FordTrucksKickGM i think you might be right. I've only ever seen one. The only reason i think it is a special edition is cause i saw one in a book once. I guess their not to common. I'll try to dig up some more info for myself.
Not sure about the original ? but could it be an early "Explorer" package ? I've seen some of them (time past) in different colors with the Explorer stripes along the body and on the hood.
As my dad constantly corrected me at time off purchase in 1979. It's not orange it is called coral. And the truck was repainted the same color after a 4year body off resto.
