Did 360 use anything other than full skirt pistons? The reason I ask is , when taking apart what i think is a 360 found that the pistons are slipper skirt pistons. even though they say 360 on them, my Steve Christ book said 390 used slipper skirt pistons. Also there are no casting # on crank, any other way to tell what it is?

Yes! Ford used slipper skirt pistons in 360 ci motors. Measure the stroke 3.5 is a 352 0r 360, 3.78 is 390. 360/390 bore will be 4.05. 352 bore is 4.00. 360/390 blocks are the same.
