2-3 shift problem electrical or mechanical?
1997 f150 2wd I believe it has the 4r70w. It shifts fine when driving slow(normal). When accelerating briskly IF the rpms reach 3000rpm 2nd wont shift into 3rd It just goes into nuetral. If you let off gas it will shift. Right before it reaches 3000rpm the battery (dummy) light on the dash flashes then remains lit until you let off the gas. The volt gage never moves while all this is going on. Is it a electrical problem or trans??. any help whould be appreciated.
