Where's the Check Engine light??

Where's the Check Engine light??
Hey guys, I've been trying to find the check engine light on my truck, but I think Ford **** the bed when they made my truck and forgot to put one in!! :P
My owner's manual says it should be between the seatbelt light, and the rear ABS light... But there's just BLACKNESS in there? All the other lights(fuel door, high beams) are like a grey ontop of the black gauge panel, but there's **** all for the check engine light? The manual says it should turn on when I put the key to on... The Amps light goes on, the ABS light goes on... NO CHECK ENGINE?????????????????
