transmissions??

what transmissions will bolt up to an FE block? i was told that a cruise-o-matic and a c6 would, the engine is a 64 390 in my buddies t-bird. thanx.

C6 Hedman Headers
Dual 40 series
edelbrock performer
holley 4160
msd 6a and blaster coil

Yes, those are the two automatics that will bolt up. The '64 Tbird would have come with the cruise-o, the C6 came out in '66.

What manuals will bolt up? I'd like to get a 4 or 5 speed to put in my truck eventually - the 68 F100 390

My 68 F-100 390 has the T-18 4spd. It has a granny low 1st gear so I normally start out in second.
