Alternator hook up
I need to double check my thinking. On the standard alternator for the Ford trucks there are two wires that run to the back of the alternator. The flat one with the eye hole obviously goes to the battery post on the alt. but the other one that has a rubber cap over it and slides on a terminal...where does that go? Is it the stator, field, or the ground terminal? I can't remember to save my life!
