thanks guys, I will try that additive. I want to see if i can find it locally, maybe from more than one site too. the gm additive, do you have to go to a chevy dealer to find it or what?
thanks for the searching as well ffr.
It's on the shelf at my local chebby dealer next to the parts department.
I've seen it on line cheaper than the stealers. I'll drive right thru the dealers concrete service department allowing those 4 1/2" pipes to drone inside the building just to tease 'em every time I need more E.O.S. goop.
I've used E.O.S. for 3 years starting with the bikes then the truck.

Is fall in the air up your direction?
What's the day and night temps?
It sounds like it's time to shop around for different oil additive, this also makes me question how much ZDDP E.O.S. has. Overkills better than under as far as cams go these days.
I still haven't found the new AC Delco version of EOS anywhere. Local NAPA has no listing and they sell AC Delco parts. I'm going to try the LAT additive and see how it is. It's supposed to be a little better than EOS...we'll see. Glad to help guys.
Here in CT the leaves are just starting to turn and it's getting chilly at night. Can feel that winter almost around the corner.....yuk.
Cool I remember hearing about that stuff!! Good deal we need all the new sources we can get. You know it might be a good thing to post a FAQ on this also. I know Art wanted to do one about the drill bit test. This might be a good one to add also.

Seriously, if you could, keep a list, and remind me about it - I'll make a tech article out of it and have it posted in a few weeks.
