Tach not working
Worked on glow plug system yesterday. Repaired some blown wires and determined the controller to be shorting. Left glow plugs disabled for now by disconnecting the expansion link from the controller. No tach is the result, trans stuck in 3rd gear obviously. Worked perfecty before this.
Hooked link back up so the truck is now same as when I drove it here, still no tach, not shifting. Tach is fed off the ECM and nothing we touched as far as we know. Ideas?
