I have them and like them. The outputs jive with known good standards so I'm not worried about the accuracy. The only negative I can think of off hand is that the scales are not the best for quick reading - too great a range in some cases such as the boost gauge. It has vacuum as well as boost - you'll never see vacuum on a turboed diesel. It does mean that the scale is more dense than it would be without it.
That said, I have had them for a few years and like the ability to have different colours at different times. I won't say they are up to the construction of a top of the line gauge but...
Your not paying top dollar for them either. In the end, I was more concerned with getting the info I wanted to monitor for. I also find the overall quality more than exceptable for my purposes.
Just a question, but why would you want to change the colors of just the aux gauges on the fly? I set all of mine to green since the cluster, radio and overhead all display in green. When you run off the dimmer, you can turn the brightness down for night driving.
I like to use blue for day & green for night. The other thing I'll do is to set a gauge to a different colour if it's one I want to watch closley for some reason.
